Product Support Analyst, Contract (Multiple Locations)
**Considering candidates in San Mateo, Santa Barbara, or US-based remote**
We are seeking a Product Support Analyst who will be responsible for providing technical (Engineering, and Data related) support and troubleshooting services involving specific products, and programs across the Population Health business unit to aid in achieving our company milestones, advance our build vision and align product stakeholders & users. As part of our Product Management team, this candidate will work with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful program deliveries. Ideal candidates have experience in an agile software development environment, and are eager and motivated to work in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment. A curiosity and passion for solving user problems is highly desired!.
This will be a 12 month contract, approximately 40 hours a week. The contract is subject to extension, and consideration for full time conversion after 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production support. Investigate, triage and manage the resolution of issues that arise during project execution. When issues cannot be fixed, work closely and quickly to address product user issues via creative workaround using internal configuration tools.
- Execution. Owns the execution of clearly defined project(s) or task(s). Requires light oversight or guidance to execute on routine, basic and well-defined activities. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Product enablement. Contributes to new & maintains current product enablement materials (including documentation & training) to educate product users of product functionality/updates. May perform and expected to support trainings, expected to ensure quality & accuracy
- Product knowledge. Has working knowledge of processes and active projects within scope. Able to navigate and represent the product within conversations. Identifies areas for improvement and efficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required (preferably in a technical or scientific discipline)
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- Experience working with software engineers and product management teams
- Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented work culture, providing back-up and support to team members
- A passion for delivering an excellent experience for users
- Strong desire to bring clarity and definition to ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of software development practices
- Familiarity with ticket/bug triage solutions (Example: Jira)
- Experience in a contact/call center environment supporting software applications
