The Public Sector Partner Programs Manager is responsible for helping to build, manage and support the evolution of the Zoom Reseller Program to support Public Sector both in the U.S. and abroad. In this role, you will work closely with Zoom Public Sector sales colleagues, legal, finance, channel management and channel operations to develop and execute an effective Reseller Program that supports partners selling to federal, state and local governments and educational institutions.  The Public Sector Partner Programs Manager will have experience in designing programs to support Software as a Subscription (SaaS) models including Renewals. He/She will also have experience in creating program policies to support Request for Proposals (RFP) and government bids. This individual will use a data driven approach that also incorporates partner feedback and internal feedback to ensure an outstanding program and is motivated by opportunities to build, maintain, and expand the best channel programs for partners, in a very fast paced, hyper-growth company.


Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate Industry Depth. This includes deep Public Sector insights and prior partner program experience supporting federal, state and local governments and educational institutions

  • World-class partner program development. Skilled at working cross functionally with a range of teams to leverage internal subject matter experts and functional leaders in support of indirect channels to market. Understanding pros and cons of channel program design specifically for SaaS models for Public Sector and the push & pull of core program elements to achieve the desired outcome with Resellers.

  • Influence and collaborate on incentives specifically designed for partners selling into Public Sector.

  • Define process and program policies around bidding and RFPs 

  • Drive alignment with Partner Enablement team to build and maintain partner training to meet program requirements

  • Create and own Reseller Program Guides and other program documentation specifically for Public Sector

  • Special projects as needed, in support of the Global Partner Programs organization 

  • Own and report on Reseller performance and participate in regular business reviews with leadership and stakeholders

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, legal, enablement, marketing, operations, product management to drive alignment on strategy and program definition/execution.

Requirements 

  • Min. 7-10 years of partner program experience in SaaS industry, including years’ experience directly advising and persuading, and negotiating at all levels of seniority 

  • Extensive Public Sector industry experience and knowledge

  • 5+ years working with Reseller and Distribution Partners that sell into Public Sector

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Results-driven mindset

  • Current experience in a high growth enterprise software company, with SaaS/Cloud business models

Skills 

  • Proven experience in designing, managing and launching industry leading partner programs

  • Demonstrated record of building and fostering durable business relationships 

  • Strategic thinker with a sales mentality and a proven ability to execute strategy 

  • Partner-based experience at an international SaaS company 

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

  • Strong leadership skills to achieve or exceed goals
