About this role

Our Office team strives to create a welcoming and inclusive office culture that supports the overall employee experience at Faire. We are looking for a Receptionist to support our 70,000 sq ft HQ, located in San Francisco’s Design District. The ideal candidate is someone who has a hospitality mindset and is not only focused on tackling the day to day responsibilities, but how to improve the overall workspace, help our employees succeed, and surprise & delight them along the way.

What you’ll do 

  • Track, and greet all visitors, vendors, employees and candidates with a warm and helpful attitude, ensuring they are properly submitted into our check-in system
  • Cultivate a safe, clean, organized and welcoming work environment and promote a positive atmosphere for the entirety of the office
  • Maintain communal office spaces to maintain the Faire aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture
  • Ensure the sorting and distribution of inbound mail and process incoming and outgoing mail via US Postal, FedEx and UPS (including coordinating shipping/ courier services for the office and maintain postage order)
  • Assist with setup, coordination and scheduling of on-site events, catering, meetings, all hands and interviews
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks that may come up. Including but not limited to ordering office supplies, documentation, facilities projects, supporting cross functional teams in administrative tasks, and partnering with executive assistants to support the core team needs.

Qualifications

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in reception and office management, or similar customer service related experience
  • You’re a self-starter–always looking for something to do, adding value wherever you go
  • You’re service-oriented and have an unparalleled “can-do” attitude
  • You possess the ability to juggle multiple competing items and have superior organizational skills
  • You’re communication skills are impeccable and are able to work with a wide range of personalities
  • You enjoy working in-person and are able to onsite Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • You are punctual with a strong attendance history
  • You’ve got experience with G Suite products: Gmail, Google drive, Google calendar
  • Using Zoom and other video conferencing software doesn’t phase you at all
  • A little experience/exposure with other office management technologies, such as visitor management software and Zendesk
