Senior Contract Administrator
Position Overview:
The Senior Contract Administrator is a position that will work with both internal stakeholders and external clients to produce requested contractual, study-related legal documents. As member of the Contracts and Finance team, they will be responsible for working with multiple departments and teams within the organization to analyze contracts and complete contract negotiations in accordance with company requirements. This is a role that requires an ability to work under pressure, to work quickly and efficiently with challenging deadlines, to successfully manage a consistently high-volume workload, and an ability to understand challenging legal and operational issues, while maintaining an "eagle-eyed” attention to detail.
This position can be remotely based.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiates contracts with clients and customers based on project or business requirements.
- Use negotiation techniques to facilitate resolution of contractual issues and to guide parties toward mutual agreement.
- Creates new Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders based on a changing landscape in the clinical environment.
- Works with various internal teams to resolve issues around contracts and project deliverables.
- Acts as the single point of contact to own the resolution of business issues.
- Confer with internal stakeholders to clarify issues, identify underlying concerns, and develop an understanding of their respective needs and interests.
- Analyze proposed contractual terms and compare to established company standards.
- Responsible for managing the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution.
- Serve as the contract management lead by independently drafting and reviewing agreements such as Change Orders.
- Follow-up on outstanding contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines and monthly revenue targeted goals
- Adhere to policies and procedures for contract development and client interaction, including managing timelines to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Perform data entry into Salesforce
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Experience
- 3-4 years of contract negotiations experience.
- Experience in a clinical trials environment is preferred.
- Able to work independently on negotiations to arrive at mutually beneficial positions.
- Established efficiency by use of meticulous organizational skills, including the ability to manage a variety of projects and ongoing negotiations at once
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge preferred
- Experience with CRM and eSignature platforms (Salesforce and DocuSign) preferred
