About the Job:

KeepTruckin is looking for an execution-driven Senior Manager of Global Safety & Security to support our rapid growth. The Global Safety and Security Manager leads the company-wide Workplace Safety and Physical Security team and reports to the Senior Director of Real Estate & Workplace. The mission of the team is to foster a safe, secure, and healthy workplace to enable our employee community to focus on creating a world where anyone can belong anywhere.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single owner for KeepTruckin Physical Safety and Security program, both strategy and operational oversight.
  • Develop and communicate team goals, priorities and efficiencies to enable scale alongside a growing company.
  • Act as the primary advocate for company-wide safety and security programs and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain safety/security as a component of KT’s company culture.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across the company.
  • Develop and deliver operationally excellent global services, such as the Global Security Operations Center, Travel & Special Events, Health & Safety, security system buildouts, etc.
  • Maintain good relationships with local police.
  • Conduct audits to find holes in security platform.
  • Possess ability to communicate with emergency responders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create opportunities to educate and inspire KT employees to understand that safety and security is everyone’s responsibility.
  • Influence executives to recognize and consider the safety and security implications of company decisions and educate employees accordingly.
  • Play a critical role in the Workplace Leadership Team, helping to drive strategy and support to the wider team.
  • Manage the program’s global budget to within 5% of budget quarterly and 3% annually.
  • Be a champion of KeepTruckin's core values.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing safety and security operations and strategy in roles with increasing responsibility
  • 2 years in a leadership role in a tech, or similar, company.
  • Public company experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills; minimum of five years leading geographically dispersed team members in multiple countries/regions.
  • Sound judgement & ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally.
  • Solid understanding of physical and reputational risk factors and methods for mitigating such risk.
  • Ability to influence in the absence of direct lines of authority over others.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to competently juggle numerous competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be an effective public speaker.
  • Proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, not afraid to dive into detail and execute as needed.
  • An acute sense of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential matters.
  • Strong fiscal discipline and ability to expertly manage large budgets.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-20%.
  • Customer-service oriented with the goal of creating a great employee experience and driving staff productivity
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

  • Able to lift/carry/move packages and furniture up to 50 lbs
