Senior Manager, Global Workplace

We are seeking a Workplace leader to join our growing team. This role will report to the Director of Workplace and Real Estate and manage a global Workplace team responsible for supporting processes and creating a welcoming, organized, clean and comfortable environment for employees and visitors worldwide.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of strong Workplace management experience in rapid-growth tech environments, an approachable demeanor, a true attention to detail and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Candidate must be able to travel and work flexibly and independently.
Here's what you'll be doing for our Workplace Team:
- Partner on the global Workplace environment across Udemy’s offices: maintain an employee experience that aligns with our values and supports great work.
- Manage a global team of workplace professionals in the Bay Area, Denver, Dublin (and growing!)
- Oversee employee engagement and visitor experience
- Own and manage a global Workplace budget.
- Supervise onsite security protocols and ensure employee safety
- Partner with team on all vendor relationships, identifying areas to improve service and/or cost.
- Work cross-functionally with other People Team leaders to create and improve processes with ideas for scalable solutions.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive alignment across the business in support of our Workplace needs.
- Oversee global office events, both on and offsite
We're excited about you because you have
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Workplace management or equivalent experience with teams of 5+.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage a large number of external vendors effectively.
- Customer driven focus to ensure all services are provided efficiently and effectively.
- A customer service mindset and friendly demeanor. You like people and are willing to pitch in and help!
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a global budget
- Ability to manage a global team
- Adept at partnering cross-functionally, gaining consensus and driving effective decision making
