About the Role

As the Vice President of Operations, you will lead operations at Modsy and report to the COO. The VP of Operations will be responsible for leading and scaling all aspects of Modsy Operations as well as being a true voice of the customer experience. You will oversee various teams including Merchandising operations, Order Management and Logistics, 3D Operations, S&OP and Customer Success. You will partner with the Head of Design Services to create a seamless customer experience that continually improves Modsy’s service offering and delivery experience while driving efficiencies and cost savings. You will work closely with finance to ensure operational capacity aligns with demand and product management and engineering to drive efficiencies and leverage over time. You’ll be excited about this role because you will:

  • Lead Modsy’s general Operations functions (Merchandise Operations, 3D Operations, Order Management & Logistics, Pipeline Management/Operations Analytics and Customer Success) ensuring the right people, processes and tools are in place to support business growth and data driven decision making
  • Scale the Operations function/team to support Modsy’s growing business - building new capabilities allowing for scale, flexibility, consistency of experience and maintaining/improving quality of service experience
  • Own operational capacity planning and lead process for internal alignment across teams (finance, marketing, design services, ops) for near, mid and longer term planning
  • Implement key process improvements within Modsy’s operations pipeline to minimize time and cost until delivery of product to our customers
  • Partner closely with Design Services team to ensure seamless customer experience from 3D Modeling to Styling to Delivery to our customers 
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to consistently improve the customer experience while creating efficiencies and cost reductions in the operations pipeline
  • Lead team to deliver on operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a weekly basis
  • Drive operational excellence of the teamDevelop and grow Operations team leaders to build Modsy bench strength while helping them realizing their career aspirations and best selves
  • Create and foster a collaborative, innovative and results-oriented team culture

We’ll be excited about you because your experience and qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus10-15 years of experience in business operations including experience with building and scaling operations teams 
  • A track record of delivering results in a high growth startup environment
  • A proven ability to build teams and functions in a fast paced innovative environment

  • Strong strategic and analytical abilities
  • A proven ability to develop strong working relationships with cross functional partners

  • A track record of driving business insights, actions, and accountability across organizations
  • Hands on operational capabilities with advanced proficiency in Google suite, MS Office, SQL, Looker applications
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing work environment
