We're looking for a talented Product Designer to be part of our tight-knit Design Team. Zumper is a design-led company that believes in the power of our product to bring simplicity to renting.

What You Will Do

• Create meaningful experiences by delivering thoughtful user experiences
• Ideate and brainstorm with product, engineering, and growth orgs to deliver designs with cross-department impact
• Manage feedback from stakeholders to analyze trade offs effectively and iterate towards handoff
• Own user flows and processes with an eye to details and edge cases
• Develop product designs across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android to provide a consistent experience across platforms
• Use data to inform design decisions, and know when to trust your experience and instincts. 
• Work with Engineering to review accuracy, pixel push and assist in QA
• Contribute to and improve our design system
• Help with growing the Design team through recruiting efforts

Who You Are

• You have 3-5 years of product design experience
• Experienced with design tools such as Sketch or Figma
• Empathetic, committed and curious in nature
• Able to communicate with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders effectively
• You have a portfolio featuring examples of your design work
• Passionate about our mission to help people find the perfect home

Bonus Skills & Experience

• Experienced working in a startup
• Able to create interactive prototypes (like Origami Studio, Framer, or Keynote)
• Knowledgable in basic HTML/CSS/JS
