The Product Manager, Commercialization is responsible for leading go-to-market plans, ensuring the successful, on-time launch of new products and services. This role will function as the critical interface of execution, managing updates, issue resolution, and general launch metrics across diverse cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience/success of managing multiple projects with rapidly shifting needs and priorities
- Task and deadline-oriented with the ability to identify and communicate any gaps or roadblocks, and to set priorities proactively and quickly
- Focused on results while keeping the desired outcomes and goals top of mind
- Able to gain alignment and drive action through effective communication and influence
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to handle challenging conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Able to exercise independent judgment to identify and evaluate complex problems and implement solutions
- Robust project management skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion and team cohesion
- Must possess exceptional organization, time management, and presentation skills
- 3+ years' experience in go-to-market project management, product management or commercialization management, or related experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Sage Medium Business Segment native cloud product lines, customers, and distribution channels is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all go-to-market plans are delivered on-time and on-strategy by enabling and driving communication and execution with cross-functional teams
- Leverage the product GTM strategy to create and execute project plans, tailoring as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements while managing the operational aspects of the project and scope
- Proactively manage quality control of deliverable messaging and positioning with a holistic understanding of the project scope, removing escalations to ensure cohesive and on-time market entry
- Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate ideas and opportunities, assess needs, and define desired outcomes and goals to achieve cross-functional alignment on operational, marketing, and business aspects of the plan
- Identify GTM program and process improvements that accelerate execution, and lead implementation of best practices
- Work closely with the Product GTM team to ensure that project plans can be effectively implemented and iterated, providing frontline feedback and innovative solutions
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion
