Product Manager, Wallet

Coinbase Wallet is our self custody wallet that lets users store their own cryptocurrency and access the full power of the open financial system. We provide a new generation of financial services to everyone in the world, no matter where they are or what their economic background is. Wallet users can earn income on their assets, take out loans, and send money to anyone, anywhere, at a low fee. Most importantly, we’re creating a platform on which the next generation of entrepreneurs are building an entirely new industry called decentralized finance.
As a Product Manager on Coinbase Wallet, you are responsible for turning this vision into a reality. Wallet has already seen breakout growth with early adopters, and it is now time to take the product to even greater heights with a global, mainstream audience.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Build the product vision and roadmap for Coinbase Wallet
- Own all product surface areas including the wallet, dapps, peer to peer payments and decentralized identity
- Design improvements to our existing product by thinking from first principles and focusing on our customer’s needs
- Talk to customers to identify new opportunities and address pain points
- Collaborate with sibling products like the Coinbase app to create outsized value: the whole is greater than the sum of the parts
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 6+ years of previous experience in product management of one or more successful products or services
- Strong ability to craft a vision and realize it
- Solid understanding of cryptocurrencies, fintech, and how the intersection of the two can become a game-changer and competitive advantage
- Ability to thread the needle between product goals, user understanding, risk, legal, privacy, and regulatory constraints
- Ability to lead through influence. Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
