Job Description
Fivetran is hiring an experienced Product Marketing Manager to play a critical and strategic role in advancing our product led growth strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact in accelerating Fivetran’s growth by optimizing our customer journey and driving customer adoption.
We’re seeking an analytical, yet empathetic, individual who will work to apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to better understand our self-serve customers and how they prefer to adopt Fivetran products. You will build personas, messaging and positioning, and content for each stage of the self serve journey and then partner closely with product, growth marketing, and analytics teams to test and optimize our self-serve customer journey. In addition to acquisition, you will also work to understand the overall customer lifecycle including expansion opportunities and customer churn analysis for this customer segment. Ensuring our customers understand our pricing and packaging strategy will also be an important aspect of this role.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:
- Possess 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, brand marketing or growth marketing in a B2B SaaS environment
- Work cross-functionally to understand and optimize our customer journey
- Develop use cases, personas, ideal customer profiles, and messaging that resonates with our target customer segment
- Plan, coordinate and measure in-product growth experiments; synthesize learnings to use cross-functionally and to scale globally
- Create engaging content to support growth marketing campaigns as well as customer-focused webinars, events, landing-pages, emails, and in-product notifications
- Identify target KPIs, a/b test metrics, and campaign success criteria to support optimization efforts.
- Become key member of pricing and packaging strategy including participation in cross-functional leadership meetings around future strategy updates and launch activities
- Deliver recommendations on improvements to customer lifecycle management including win-loss and churn analyses and

- In-person or virtual communication expertise. You will be working with users, product managers, sales and marketing at Fivetran across the world
- You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders from creative to technical
- Messaging Ownership: You will be the storyteller and owner in articulating our product capabilities, you enjoy proactively developing and it will be your job to keep it engaging and insightful
- Initiative driven, self starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
