Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

About the Team
The Product Marketing team has a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with multiple areas of the company, including public relations, marketing, business development, partnerships, customer support, brand, product, data, and engineering. The team and this role are responsible for deepening our user engagement and customer lifetime value through the use of creative marketing techniques to drive feature adoption and user retention.
About You:
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in a B2C context, and at least 2 years in a people management role
- Strategic decision maker who relies on the data. Where data isn’t available, you make decisions based on clear principles.
- Comfortable working in an environment where processes still need to be built out. We are a relatively new function of Marketing and in this role, you will come across a lot of ambiguity and will often develop new workflows, as well as evolving them quickly after seeing what works and what doesn’t.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. This role is highly visible at all levels within the company and regularly sharing the output of our work is crucial to our success.
- Team collaborator with outstanding interpersonal skills. In such a visible and cross-functional role, it's essential to know how to develop effective relationships with various colleagues who may have different priorities.
- Nice to Have: Understanding and/or experience working for a company or with a platform that offers a subscription service.
A day in the life of our Senior Manager, Product Marketing:
As a key member of the team, this position is responsible for playing an essential part in the development of product features and updates and the go-to-market strategy.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our customers, the market, and our competitors through our User Research team, product assessments, analysis of user behavior, and cross-functional experiments
- Evangelize new updates and features internally with key partners and externally with our passionate community of users
- Champion marketing initiatives that may compete with other priorities by building business cases and showcasing overall impact
- Lead the creation of our go-to-market strategy by crafting product and feature positioning to direct creative briefs with a customer-centric eye
- Work with PR, Marketing, and Brand teams to develop marketing and communications plans that bring our products to market in a robust and innovative way
- Coordinate product rollouts by working with Product to define the metrics to measure success and ensure marketing plans address each conversion metric
- Work with Business Intelligence to set up dashboards for monitoring feature usage and engagement, as well as any other relevant metrics
