What You'll Do

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by targeting and closing new sales opportunities with mid-market sized accounts ( employees) within various verticals such as BI/Analytics, Consumer Applications, On-Demand & Logistics, etc.
  • Identify qualified prospects and drive the entire sales process from introduction to close over the phone and, when necessary, in person
  • Develop and deepen direct relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives in organizations you are actively pitching 
  • Manage Salesforce pipeline activity, including weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting
  • Orchestrate internal resources, including senior leadership, legal teams, and sales engineering, to accomplish your targets
  • Expand your knowledge of the industry, track current trends to provide recommendations to customers, and provide product and tech teams with continuous feedback on new customer requirements
  • Captivate customers with unique technology value propositions and best-in-class customer experiences

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

  • 3+ years experience in quota carrying, closing account executive or account manager sales roles at hyper-growth software or platform technology companies (startup experience highly-preferred)
  • Proven successful track record achieving or exceeding quota with deals ranging from $20-400k to mid-market accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to position complex technical products and solutions using analytical and value-based sales approaches
  • Proficient in partnering with product managers and sales engineers in development and proof-of-concept stages of sales lifecycle
  • Self-starter, eager to learn and not afraid to seek out expertise of others around you to adapt and perfect your work
  • Goal-oriented mindset, able to act as an individual contributor and be a team player
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and working through unknowns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills that maintain a personable, yet persistent, approach
