We’re looking for an Associate of Merchant Operations to improve the quality & efficiency of our merchant partners

On the Merchant Strategy & Ops team, our mission is to create and execute a cohesive content strategy, build best-in class services for our merchants, and help our merchants operate seamlessly and efficiently on the platform. As the Associate of Merchant Operations, you’ll be responsible for defining standards of operational success for our partners and consulting with them to help achieve joint goals for their off-premise business. 

What you’ll do

  • Strategize – Build the strategy for merchant accountability programs to ensure that our merchants operate with quality standards across the country
  • Implement – Drive go to market planning & execution for new initiatives to improve food quality (missing/incorrect items, cancellations etc.) or Wait Times
  • Analyze - Build models to find cost savings, root cause quality degradation, and help our merchants assess their performance
  • Experiment – Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgement to run tests on everything from commissary kitchens to Point of sale integration
  • Influence – Work cross-functionally with our Merchant Management teams to achieve cost & quality goals

About you

  • Self-starter: You have a bias towards action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Analytical: You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel.
  • Relentless: You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful
  • Relationship-builder: You can influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions
  • Problem solver: You can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting / strategy / business development / operations / technology / banking or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Excel skills; SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required
