Background

TrueAccord aims to fundamentally change the debt collection industry with a data driven debt collection platform powered by machine learning and digital first communications. Our clients benefit from increased recovery rates, reduced compliance risk and improved customer retention.

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy and driven professional to join our industry leading FinTech sales organization as a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales quota, strong business acumen, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business. You must be comfortable making tons of calls per day, generating interest with clients, qualifying prospects and setting sales appointments. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are key; and a competitive, friendly, numbers-driven personality will thrive here.

Essential Duties

  • Research, identify and tenaciously generate new opportunities
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline
  • Evangelize TrueAccord and the machine learning collections model
  • Prioritize your time and effort to efficiently turn leads into qualified opportunities, and facilitate a smooth transition to Account Executives
  • Understand the value drivers of prospects to creatively craft customized messages in order to generate interest, build customer relationships and ensure a positive first experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing prospects through creative follow-up communications designed to nurture interest in TrueAccord
  • Work with sales management to develop targeted lists of prospect companies
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of our products, current events in our target accounts and the industry at large in order to understand how TrueAccord services can best add value for prospective clients
  • Share feedback from the field and collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to help define the most effective selling tactics and strategies for the sales team to achieve our targets
  • Log all activity in our CRM
  • Consistently exceed monthly quotas

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • 1-2 Years of corporate experience, outside of undergraduate graduation (Software sales is a plus)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High energy, positive attitude and a willingness to constantly be in communication with prospective clients
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A great personality and a passion for furthering our goals as an organization
  • Aptitude to translate complex business concepts into concise and intuitive conversations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong desire to be in FinTech sales
  • Prior inside sales experience
  • Experience being held to metrics
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

There are a growing number of public and private offerings available to all employees.
