Director, Life Sciences Account Executive (Multiple Locations)

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated individual to join our team! As our senior Account Executive, your main responsibility will be to drive our business success with life sciences companies. The primary focus is to build and expand relationships of existing accounts, recognize client needs, and open doors to opportunities across multiple business areas to support the growth and utilization of Evidation products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate leads, and pursue & win strategic deals with life sciences companies to meet individual revenue goals
- Develop an Account Plan based on a deep understanding of the account, outlining key priorities and engagement plans to help clients achieve their goals, as well as to drive business growth
- Develop & strengthen our relationships with clients; become a trusted advisor to client contacts across the pharma organization
- Support the delivery of projects, ensuring that customer needs are met and internal coordination is smooth
- Anticipate customer needs and in collaboration with our internal cross-functional teams, develop strategies to solve our clients’ complex business issues
- Identify and lead the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s)
- Monitor client satisfaction with contracted deliverables; work with the delivery team to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop and coordinate proposals to drive new business growth and manage renewal subscriptions. As required, may participate in contract renewal efforts on large multi-year contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant sales or account management experience selling to life sciences companies with a higher emphasis placed on the leading global biopharmaceutical firms
- Track record of developing, negotiating, and closing deals
- Strong understanding of the life sciences value chain, including clinical development, medical affairs, and commercial
- Exceptional general communication skills, demonstrated through clarity of thought in writing, presentations/proposals, and verbal interactions
- Ability to develop relationships and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholders and levels
- Commitment to problem solving, active listening, contributing ideas, and respecting the opinion of others to support team and client goals
