ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced business associate who is passionate about building and scaling our emerging product offerings within Sales Ops for New Verticals, Uber's fastest-growing business.
Working closely with Product, Systems, Enablement, Sales Leaders, and Regional GMs, this role will build & optimize our go-to-market strategy, increase sales productivity, and drive overall product adoption for products like Delivery as a Service, Ads, and Merchant Loyalty Programs.
The scope of this role is global, currently focused on the 11 priority markets of the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, UK, France, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Craft Strategies & Execute: Manage go-to-market sales operations strategies from ideation to execution to drive the commercial rollout, adoption, and integration of both new and existing products. This includes (but is not limited to) product go-to-market process, launch scenarios, sales targets, and training.• Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive airtight execution of the sales operations foundations with your functional counterparts and cross-functionally with other teams. Partner with in-market Sales Operations teammates to ensure smooth launches.• Build Relationships: Develop excellent working relationships with the regional Sales and Account Management teams as well as Global counterparts on Product, Enablement, Systems, and Product Marketing teams.• Be a Functional Expert: As an expert generalist, you will develop functional expertise across many parts of the business in order to drive a coordinated and balanced approach.• Develop Regional & Product Expertise: Maintain a detailed knowledge of local market dynamics in the 11 priority markets New Verticals markets and keep a strong pulse on the products you interface with.• Anticipate & Adapt: See around corners to spot risks to new product lines or sales channels and develop relevant response plans.• Tee Up Scalable Solutions: Build scalable processes that can be transitioned to operational teams once each new product is live and established in a given market.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ years of experience in a combination of strategy, operations, consulting, and project/program management or sales operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience problem solving and passion for prioritizing and deconstructing complex problems effectively and consistently• An ability to synthesize information quickly, to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires• An ability to build excellent relationships across a broad organization, cultivate a fun and collaborative work environment, and identify problems from different perspectives. Humility and empathy are essential to success in this role• High standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with• Grit and perseverance. You're passionate about a challenge and push yourself to persevere when others back away• Technical project management experience• Consulting experience• Commercial experience (i.e. sales or account management)• Experience working in Salesforce• Experience working with Asana, Jira, and/or similar project management tools
