ABOUT THE ROLE
The Global Sales Operations team is looking for a program manager to lead strategic initiatives across New Verticals, Uber's fastest-growing organization. Because our organization is in its early innings, we're moving at lightning speed, and need a dynamic problem solver and expert communicator to keep us on the right track as we scale. This role will be focused on integrating a broad range of multi-directional stakeholder input to guide the global New Verticals commercial teams to meet its targets and help Uber become a platform to go anywhere and get anything.
The scope of this role is global, currently focused on the 11 priority markets of the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, UK, France, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Guide Direction: Maintain a strong pulse on the New Verticals organization's priorities and Sales Operations workstreams, ensuring our focuses are aligned and we're on track to deliver impactful and timely solutions. You'll hold our team accountable to our commitments and ensure we're in lockstep with the broader business.• Launch & Integrate: As a key representative of Sales Operations, you'll amplify and bring new work to life with our in-region and global stakeholders with a goal of securing agreement and adoption across teams.• Unite Viewpoints: As the liaison between Sales Operations and our partners across the company, you'll maintain an objective perspective and form points of view on the best path forward, influencing and advising the Sales Operations leadership team on tough decisions.• Project Manage: You'll own the team's operations, including coordinating global meetings, triaging the Sales Ops Jira, team newsletter, new hire onboarding, annual planning, sprint planning, and more.• Process Improvement: Review and improve our team's internal and external operating rhythms to improve collaboration, feedback loops, and output. In addition to owning improving our team's existing operating rhythms, this includes owning and improving how we execute projects and triage requests from other teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of experience in a combination of management consulting, strategy, operations, and project/program management or as a chief of staff
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven ability to organize, advise, and drive progress for large, complex projects or organizations• Can see around corners, has an eye for detail, and naturally sees what others miss• Extreme versatility and ability to drive creative outcomes despite complexity whilst maintaining strong, open communication with cross-functional teammates• Expert and intuitive communicator (verbal, written, visual), able to adjust style according to audience, channel, and situation• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Asana, and/or other relevant commercial and project management software• Proficiency in SQL, Excel / data management skills• Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM project management methodologies
