We are looking for a great Sales leader who can manage the performance of our awesome Retailer Sales Team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that we continue to drive revenue growth through our retail sales efforts, and have the right tools, training and infrastructure in place for our Retail Sales team to be successful. Most of all, you will be critical during this foundational stage of the company, and instrumental in making Faire the de-facto platform of choice for Retailers to do the wholesale buying. 

As Head of Retailer Sales You Will:

  • Develop the sales strategy and sales motions for the Retail sales team
  • Set, track and manage to revenue targets on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis
  • Manage the performance of our Retailer Sales Representatives, ensuring they are hitting and exceeding their planned sales goals
  • Ensure your team has the product knowledge and training they need to deliver an exceptional experience to our Retailers
  • Use data and customer insights to create sales processes and procedures that best meet our Retailer needs
  • Shape customized approaches to Retailer sales, including driving revenue, share of wallet expansion, and brand referrals
  • Partner closely with other cross-functional teams to translate business needs and product requirements into new solutions for our Retailers

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales management and experience in a direct sales role or other go to market function
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management and empathy
  • You are data savvy - you can measure the performance of your team and understand / move levers to improve it
  • You are results oriented and will ensure that your team is performing to it's full potential
  • You love the space we are in, care about the Faire makers and are knowledgeable and excited about helping them achieve success
  • You thrive in a fast-growth, high-potential environment
