Summary

Particle is growing at a rapid pace and continuing to cement it’s stature as the leading Internet of Things company. Exceeding revenue targets each quarter, Business Development is going to play a critical role in sustaining this explosive growth. The Business Development team is chartered with growing Particle’s pipeline and providing prospects with a best-in-class experience. As a Business Development Manager at Particle, you will have the opportunity to hire, coach, and prepare a team of Business Development Representatives to take the next step in their careers. 

You will:

  • Support a team of 8-10 Business Development Representatives
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and development of sales team including recruiting, hiring and training new BDRs on Particles’ sales process
  • Partner with the Marketing team to produce new outbound campaigns as well as the field marketing team to select and drive attendance to events that will influence pipeline generation
  • Develop prospecting strategies and campaigns to drive outbound opportunity generation
  • Motivate BDRs through recognition, goal setting, competition, and reinforce a culture of collaboration and success 
  • Report on opportunity generation activity and effectiveness. Forecast pipeline generation to sales leadership
  • Exceed team's monthly, quarterly and annual quotas

You have:

  • 1+ Year(s) of people management experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in Direct Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations roles
  • Strong proficiency with CRM tools (eg: Salesforce), email tools (eg: Outreach), and prospecting tools (eg: Linkedin Sales Navigator)
  • An ability to build strong relationships with internal customers (in Marketing, Sales, and Operations) 
  • Strong problem solving techniques to identify solutions for key business problems
