We're looking to grow our sales team by finding bright, hardworking Business Development Reps who can help develop our outbound strategy. We’re still a young team so each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our future sales organization. At Segment, you will be joining a team that is dedicated to helping you learn the B2B software sales industry, and develop your career. We promote from within and provide a wide range of opportunities to become an Account Executive or expand into other roles at Segment. 

What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of Segment within the Enterprise 
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through various outbound channels to increase customer interest, and excitement in Segment products
  • Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Segment products
  • Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
  • Partner with our experienced AEs to help fill pipeline and grow your skills
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business

You’re a great fit if you…

  • You have 1–2 years of work experience, BDR experience is a plus
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • You have knowledge of the marketing technology industry
  • You are hungry to be great
  • You have high energy and a positive attitude
  • You are enthusiastic about learning the software sales space
  • You have intellectual curiosity and high ambition
