Who are we looking for?

SentinelOne is searching for a Partner Technical Architect to help us expand strategically with select technology partners.

As a member of the SentinelOne Corporate and Business Development team, you will act as the senior technical liaison between us and our technology partners, playing both a “product manager” as well as “product marketing” type role for the incubation, integration and GTM of our strategic technology  partnerships.

Key responsibilities include the scoping and building of strategic integrations with various technology partners, providing technical support and guidance for the partner ecosystem, as well as supporting your partner’s GTM and Field events, where appropriate. You will also provide technical assessment and evaluation where needed for Corporate Development initiatives.

An ideal candidate will possess exceptional executive communication and technical skills to interact with partner CTOs, product managers, sales engineers and developers. This candidate will also work closely with their Business Development teammates to build relationships with these ISV partners, and think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical opportunities to grow the SentinelOne partner ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should possess a keen interest and a deep understanding of the Endpoint security ecosystem. As the voice of SentinelOne, you will have the opportunity to participate in partner and industry events and contribute content to promote thought leadership.

What will you do? 

● Lead technical discussions with select technology partners on the value SentinelOne can provide to their customers.
● Educate these partners on security concepts and customer-driven use cases that will help enable their products for our respective needs.
● Explore, strategize and prioritize product integration strategies, with supporting business cases.
● Gather, track, and translate partner feedback and help influence and inform the SentinelOne product roadmap within SentinelOne product organization.
● Develop domain expertise and thought leadership within the broader security ecosystem, and explore potential new areas for expansion.
● Work cross-functionally with Business and Corporate Development, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineering and other internal organizations across SentinelOne on a regular basis.

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
● 10+ years of technical product, marketing or sales development experience, ideally in support of business development or related partnership/alliance experience in Enterprise Cloud and Security markets.
● 3+ years of direct experience integrating and driving GTM alliances with one or more major technology providers (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google).
● Excellent analytical and communication skills to provide business and technical guidance to audiences of varying technical abilities including development leaders, executives, product managers and engineers.
● Experience with Software Vendors and ability to work with Business Development in building strong ISV partner relationships.
● Experience with modern programming languages including one or more programming skills in Java, C#, Ruby, Python, PHP and JavaScript
● Technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers.
● Eagerness to learn new technologies and share your knowledge with the community around you.
● Willingness to make mistakes in a dynamic environment.
● Domain knowledge and experience in one or more of threat detection, security analytics, IAM, UEBA, IGA, strong authentication, network security and API security is a strong plus, but not required.
● Prior experience in management, as well as sales engineering, technical marketing, or technical product management, partner architect, or technical evangelist.
● Bachelors of Arts or Science, with a computer science background.
