Retail Partner Specialist
OVERVIEW
As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking to add to our Business Development team. We are hiring a Retail Partner Specialist to help launch new retailer partnerships all across North America. In this role, you will have responsibilities including, but not limited to, onboarding key new retailers, creating relationships within the potential retailer organization, overseeing a cross-functional effort of the entire launch process, across mid-tiers, SMB and channel partner retailers, and formalizing partnerships.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Ensure clear accountability for the end to end launch process
- Oversee and build a cross-functional dedicated launch team
- Evolve key touch points like the starter package and technical spec to be more retailer focused
- Ensure that all retailer facing materials work well for retailers, and invest in better content
- Get tighter on project management of launches at all scales
- Rigid communications to our partners keeping all key stakeholders aware of timelines
- Change the order of the process to show early results and momentum
- Find ways to show early progress such as giving access to the storefront pre-ingestion
- Create and maintain centralized internal documentation for cross-functional teams
- Create and maintain centralized external documentation for partners on launch process
- Create seamless handoffs throughout the process by enabling cross functional collaboration
- Experiment and test a range of launch process improvements
- Establish clear KPIs to track and verify performance of launch team and process
- Ensure KPIs are aligned and visible across all teams who partake in launch process
- Report out on success of newly launched partners through the first 30 days
- Develop readiness criteria to assess efforts in launching partners
- Create more mid-tier and SMB business friendly assets and content
- Be the front and back face to our partners and ensure key stakeholders understand timelines, processes and efforts required to launch
ABOUT YOU
- 3 - 5 years of operations management, product / process management or tech background
- Ability to work individually, with little guidance and across various levels of ambiguity
- Solid analytical background: you can mold and understand data to drive action and results
- Project management experience with an obsession over details
- Strong ability to influence others without direct oversight
- Excellent communication skills: collaborate effectively across internal teams and work with external partners
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- High attention to detail with strong execution skills
- Familiarity with tools of the trade (eg. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Suite, Slides)
- Some flexibility to travel
