You will be responsible for defining and implementing our CRM strategy and roadmap. This will require you to define what a healthy org looks like and help ensure we are executing against this objective. This role will work with Sales, Customers Success, Marketing, Cross-functional Operations teams, and Finance teams.

How you'll contribute:

  • Define a healthy SFDC instance and build out strategy and controls to ensure we meet this objective
  • Lead cross-functional projects from ideation to execution that directly impact new business, customer success, and retention
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, including configuration, custom fields and objects, layouts, and use of declarative tools
  • Define and enforce our change management policies in collaboration with ops (Sales, CS, Marketing and BizOps) and enablement teams
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, protocols, application configuration, data dictionaries, and help-related materials for users as applications are developed
  • Develop models to help analyze the health of the business including sales forecasting, pipeline generation, coverage, and customer utilization
  • Design processes to improve hygiene and report on the data necessary to make strategic growth decisions
  • Regularly auditing data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement
  • Be hands-on with administrative functions including user account maintenance, creating custom objects, custom fields, formula fields, validation rules, custom list views and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Leverage external Salesforce consulting resources where necessary

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce Development Certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience building out processes that maximize usability of the Sales tools to ensure data integrity
  • Thorough understanding of custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflow rules, process flows, and visual workflow--and knowledge of which situations are appropriate for each
  • Proven track record of building and implementing complex business requirements within Salesforce and third party applications
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and/or the Salesforce.com API, and an interest in developing these skills

  • Web application development experience
