We’re looking for a Sales/Solutions Engineer to support our Sales and Customer Success teams by working on pitching Crunchbase products to new potential clients, and solving technical challenges for existing customers. You will use your deep understanding of the product and the needs of clients to build efficient processes to scale our onboarding and sales processes. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive various initiatives to support and scale Crunchbase. The ideal candidate will combine technical, product, and business skills to help our clients be successful within the platform.

Sales & Customer Success at Crunchbase

The Sales and Customer Success teams are focused on driving revenue and supporting our clients within our B2B function (Enterprise and API). This includes developing, onboarding, and supporting client relationships end to end.

As a Crunchbase Sales/Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Have a deep understanding of the Crunchbase product range from a technical and business standpoint
  • Serve as the technical product expert for clients by providing pre and post-sales support and product expertise
  • Design solutions that enable our Sales partners to drive new opportunities while providing Customer Success ongoing solutions for existing customers
  • Partner with Customer Success to provide new customers with a seamless onboarding experience
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to understand product capabilities and limitations
  • Work with the Product team to communicate and clarify clients' feedback and needs and help drive a better product

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
  • Experience communicating with technical and business audiences
  • Knowledge of the enterprise software space
  • Ability to communicate and work across all levels of an organization – team managers, department leaders, company executives
  • Experience working with web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP and REST
  • Python Experience
