In this crucial role, you will be the main client-facing lead to some of our largest strategic customers. This means you will be the central hub internally for anything client related, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to align and refine our strategy for deepening our relationships while looking for opportunities to grow our business.

As the strategic account leader you will engage hands-on with customers in this role, but you’ll also develop processes, tools, and collateral to make these customer interactions more efficient as the business grows. You will gather feedback from customers on platform strengths, challenges, and opportunities, and champion that feedback to stakeholders and product teams. As the voice of the customer you will be responsible for customer deliverables, support requests, contracts, invoices and orders while identifying opportunities and growing the business. Your ability to make people feel at ease will be key as you help clients in old-school, risk-averse industries to adopt a new technology.

Our ideal candidate has 7+ years strategic account management experience in a SAAS enterprise environment. You have managed strategic customer relationships and understand how complex organizations operate. You are passionate about building key relationships and genuinely care about creating a great experience for every customer you deal with, and it shows in everything you do. You’ve also gotten really good at negotiating with executives and marshaling resources needed to be successful. Ability to lead cross-functionally, prioritizing business objectives, bias for action (we’re a startup), presentation skills, and attention to detail (of course!), will be the foundational attributes that will set you up for success in this role. Clients have come to respect and trust you for your ability to simply communicate complex ideas, listen to various perspectives, and prescribe the best course of action and your team views you as a hyper-effective person who can dig into the weeds, pull up to connect back to strategy, and generally “gets stuff done.”
