About the Job:
Samasource is looking for an experienced VP Global Sales to join our team. Reporting to the President & COO, your responsibility will be to lead the global sales team, drive sales strategy, support execution and build your own book of business.
The ideal sales leader will be a highly motivated self-starter with stellar client skills, the ability to think creatively to solve client specific needs, and a true business partner. The leader must have SaaS expertise, and an ability to work with client senior executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global sales organization of over a dozen account executives, sales engineers and sales managers
- Drive sales strategy and culture. Accountable for key sales metrics and partnering with Marketing and Product to effectively sell product into the market
- Act as a Samasource brand champion, communicating effectively the differentiated value of ethical sourcing services
- Bring competitive market intelligence and customer requirements back to other Samasource teams
- Manage accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS with a solid record of academic achievement
- 12+ years of overall sales experience and 8+years of managing sales teams
- Outstanding executive presence and communication skills
- Experience with being responsible for $50-$150M+ bookings
- Experience leading channel sales or alliances
- Experience with leading development and management of a sales pipeline and key sales metrics
- Excellent written skills and negotiation skills
- Experience managing global teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong preference for experience selling artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions
