How you will make an impact:

As a Senior Employee Relations Manager at Iterable, you will own the performance management function end-to-end across Iterable by developing strategic processes and partnering directly with Iterable’s people managers and cross-functional teams.

How you will make a difference:

  • Own the performance management function across Iterable, including creating structures, guidance, trainings, and templates for the performance review process
  • Manage the annual performance review cycle for Iterable
  • Partner directly with people managers to coach, train, and develop their people with empathy and objectivity
  • Oversee and use Iterable’s performance management systems for accuracy and accountability
  • Use data to meaningfully understand and act on trends and themes 
  • Partner with our global People Business Partner team to manage the probationary process and other global initiatives consistently and effectively across the organization
  • Develop and conduct targeted training for Iterators on performance management topics, including effective coaching, difficult conversations, interpersonal conflict, and delivering effective feedback
  • Facilitate and help address interpersonal conflicts between employees 
  • Lead the separation process for performance-related exits
  • Analyze and update performance management programs to continue to provide a positive employee experience 

We are looking for people who:

  • Ten years of performance management experience 
  • Compelling interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust across organizational lines 
  • Experience building and developing effective performance management programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Practical comfort with understanding and harnessing data effectively 
  • Effective project management skills to timely and effectively lead multi-department initiatives to completion 
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
  • Ability to work closely with and influence employees at all levels of an organization 
  • Technically proficient in Google and Office Suite
  • Problem-solver and strategic thinker with strong judgment 
  • Comfortable with trying new and different ways of working with an open mind 

Bonus Points

  • Working knowledge of employment requirements in the UK, Portugal, Australia and/or New Zealand, specifically around probationary periods and the performance management process
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations 
  • Experience working in a private tech company

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $117,000 - $180,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
