About the Role
GoodRx Health is the award-winning content arm of GoodRx, where doctors, pharmacists and editorial experts provide authoritative answers to thousands of vital health questions. Our team is seeking a VP to serve as the single-threaded leader for GoodRx Health, one of the fastest-growing business units at GoodRx.
This is an exciting opportunity to take an already successful and fast-growing business (with high double-digit traffic and revenue growth YoY) and bring it to the next level. The right candidate will be a dynamic leader who brings a wealth of industry knowledge to execute against best practices while driving strategic innovation.
As VP, you will lead this cross-collaborative org into the future, bringing fresh ideas to accelerate the continued growth of our business. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to generate revenue expansion, audience growth, and connect users with other products and services within the GoodRx ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in strategy, monetization and execution, ideally as a commercially oriented senior leader in the digital publishing or media space. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer & President of GoodRx, and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, SEO, Marketing, Data, Ad Operations and more.
Responsibilities:

  • Own the robust P&L for the GoodRx Health business, including close coordination with Sales to drive substantial growth to revenue and margin in our advertising and partnerships business
  • Build and execute against a multi-year strategy to diversify and expand the impact of GoodRx Health on the GoodRx platform, including exploring new revenue channels and driving users deeper into our ecosystem of products
  • Drive continued and substantial audience growth to support the above objectives, in partnership with cross-functional teams like Product, Marketing, SEO and our Editor-in-Chief of GoodRx.
  • Lead exceptional, high-performing Editorial, Video, Content Production, Newsletters, AdOps, and Strategy/Ops teams, inspiring senior leaders in each function to do their best work.
  • Represent the GoodRx Health business unit to senior company management


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience as a leader in the digital media space, preferably in the health publishing space, and a college degree
  • P&L responsibility and track record of growing revenue and margin
  • A proven track record of driving strategic innovation in businesses that you have led from conception to implementation
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams and developing senior leaders
  • Experience overseeing Go-To-Market, SEO, Editorial and/or Content strategies, Media and Publishing product development and functions that support a publishing and media business.
  • Insight into the end-user experience and how to represent their best interests in a digital product
  • Strong ability to clearly assess and communicate necessary business tradeoffs
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to work with/across Product, Sales, Partnerships and Editorial teams
  • Domain expertise in healthcare, especially pharmacy and brand/generic drugs a plus
  • MBA a plus

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.
San Francisco and Seattle Offices:
$252,000.00 - $402,000.00
New York Office:
$231,000.00 - $369,000.00
Santa Monica Office:
$210,000.00 - $335,000.00
Other Office Locations:
$189,000.00 - $302,000.00
