The Senior Staff AI Engineer will lead AI initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of AI solutions for risk management at SoFi, focusing on scalable architectures and innovative AI techniques.

Lead and grow a team of data scientists for SoFi’s consumer finance businesses. Prioritize and deliver high-impact data science and ML projects, build data pipelines, deploy and monitor models in production, mentor engineers, recruit talent, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance, risk, and executives to drive data-informed business decisions.

The Credit Strategy Lead will analyze data to propose credit risk strategies for lending products, collaborate with teams to drive revenue, and develop innovative risk management approaches.

Lead end-to-end direct mail marketing campaigns: define targeting and suppression logic, execute and validate data pipelines, manage offshore execution, measure ROI and experiment results, partner with marketing and third parties to optimize audiences and campaign performance, and present insights to senior leadership.
