Redwood City-based startup Reputation announced Tuesday that it raised $150 million in fresh financing. The minority growth investment came courtesy of Marlin Equity Partners.

The raise couldn’t have come at a better time. The startup has already witnessed over 80 percent year-over-year growth and recently surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue.

Reputation’s AI-powered platform translates solicited and unsolicited customer feedback data into insights that companies can use to learn from and grow. The platform aims to connect all the key elements of a customer experience program from consumer ratings and reviews to social listening and survey tech.

“An increasing number of companies are maturing their customer experience programs and want more information on the Voice of the Customer, causing the market to grow globally at an exponential rate,” Joe Fuca, CEO of Reputation, said in an email to Built In. “My goal is for Reputation to continue to capitalize on its proven momentum and deliver modern solutions to the innovation starved customer experience market.”

Last year the company added a new product to its roster, a crisis management support toolkit for healthcare providers. The toolkit was launched in an effort to help providers easily communicate with their patients about what services were available and where.

“Many parts of the customer journey have remained siloed up until now. Meanwhile, businesses are collecting large amounts of structured and unstructured data without one platform to make sense of it,” Fuca continued. “Our customizable platform and product lineup provides actionable insights that lead to business growth.”

Reputation has done well for itself since it was founded in 2006. The company’s client list consists of more than 250 partners, including tech giants like Google, Facebook, Salesforce and Amazon.

“What we have built here is nothing short of outstanding,” Fuca said in a company blog post. “From our talented employees to our growing roster of blue-chip customers, everyone has played a critical role in our success and I’m excited about the direction in which we are headed next.”

Reputation plans to use the latest raise to drive strategic product enhancements, expand its partner ecosystem and fuel its global expansion plans. The company is now hiring for 31 roles across its offices in California, Utah, Arizona and Illinois.

All told Reputation has raised $210.6 million in venture capital financing to date, according to data from Crunchbase.
