Incredible Health, a career marketplace for the healthcare industry, announced Wednesday its $80 million Series B funding round led by Base10 Partners. The new capital brings the company’s valuation to $1.65 billion, launching it into the tech unicorn club alongside other businesses with valuations of $1 billion or more.

Incredible Health is a jobs marketplace aimed at connecting nurses looking for permanent occupations with hospitals experiencing staffing shortages. Currently, the company’s platform is used by over 600 hospitals nationwide and visited by over 10,000 nurses weekly, according to a company statement. Incredible Health also works with 60 percent of top-ranked hospitals in the U.S., including Stanford Health Care, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, NYU Langone Health and Northwestern Medicine, among others.

“Nurses are the backbone of the U.S. healthcare system and they deserve the well-staffed teams and tools to not only succeed but also feel fulfilled in their careers,” Incredible Health CEO and co-founder Iman Abuzeid said in a statement. “Our model has met the moment and changed the paradigm for both nurses and healthcare providers in the most challenging time in U.S. healthcare. We’re excited to accelerate our growth to affect even more change.”
