Harvey, an AI platform operating in the legal sector, secured $300 million in a Series E capital raise spearheaded by Kleiner Perkins and Coatue. The company, which equips law firms, professional service providers and Fortune 500 companies with a generative AI solution, is valued at $5 billion after the round.

Harvey’s platform allows legal professionals to delegate complex tasks in natural language to an AI assistant, get answers to complex research questions across various domains, use AI to analyze documents and collaborate with multi-model agents. Its solution combines industry knowledge and modern technology to help professionals develop expertise faster.

The company, currently present in 53 countries, plans to invest its new capital in international expansion and supporting customers worldwide, according to reporting by Artificial Lawyer.
