Navan, a corporate travel and expense software company based in Palo Alto, announced the return of Rich Liu as the CEO of Navan Travel. Liu previously served as Navan’s chief revenue officer. The company also announced the appointment of Amy Butte to its board of directors as audit committee chair.

In the newly-created role of Navan Travel CEO, Liu will oversee the company’s travel business line and work towards executing larger company initiatives. His return to Navan comes at a time of fast growth for the company, with significant revenue increases and advancements in AI optimization and global expansion.
