Stord, a Georgia-based logistics technology company, announced its completed acquisition of Santa Clara-based Shipwire. Stord equips omnichannel brands with commerce enablement, high-volume fulfillment and e-commerce technology solutions. This acquisition expands its fulfillment network and enhances its technology stack.

Shipwire is a subsidiary of CEVA, a French logistics company. With this acquisition, Stord is adding 12 locations to its network and strengthening its European presence while improving customer access to CEVA’s global warehouse network through Shipwire’s agreements.

Alongside expanding its reach, Stord is making advancements to its order management system with the integration of Shipwire’s technology division. The latter has been developing an AI-enabled platform that will be implemented in Stord’s ecosystem. This move builds upon Stord's existing investments in the space, with more than 50 hires planned throughout 2025 and early 2026.
