WorkWhile, an AI-powered workforce management platform, has named Simon Khalaf as chief executive officer, with co-founder Jarah Euston transitioning to president and chief operating officer.
According to a news release, Khalaf has served on WorkWhile’s board for several years and previously held senior leadership roles at Marqeta, Twilio, Yahoo and Verizon, where he helped build and scale technology and media businesses.
“I’ve worked alongside Simon for over a decade,” Euston said in a statement. “He understands this company deeply. With him leading as CEO, I can focus fully on driving growth and ensuring we continue delivering for our workers and customers.”
WorkWhile also announced an expansion into worker-focused financial services with the launch of a real-time pay feature that allows workers to access their earned wages immediately.
In a statement, Khalaf said WorkWhile’s AI platform was designed to provide income opportunities, but the company’s broader goal is to help workers achieve financial stability and succeed in today’s economic environment.
