In just 17 months, Airbyte has raised more than $180 million from top investors. Now it wants to aggressively expand, and plans to go from 30 to 200 employees next year.
The company announced Wednesday that, during its Series B extension, closed last August, it facilitated a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to allocate funds to Black and Latinx investors. In total, 80 investors of color contributed a total of $3 million to the startup’s coffers.
