Intern will conduct industrial robot simulations, develop AI and simulation systems, balance simulation fidelity with computational complexity, help close the sim-to-real gap, reduce physical prototyping, and generate photorealistic 2D, 3D, and video synthetic datasets for robotics applications. The role is a 12-week, onsite internship in San Jose, California, supporting ABB’s robotics R&D team.

Leads ABB’s international business transformation roadmap across regions, business lines, and functions. Responsibilities include operating-model redesign, transformation portfolio governance, cross-functional integration, executive stakeholder alignment, change leadership, risk escalation, and continuous improvement. The role establishes scalable processes, technology, governance, and organizational capabilities to support international growth, acquisitions, and the Stabilize-Optimize-Scale strategy. Approximately 30–40% international travel is required.

Own and grow strategic hyperscaler accounts in the U.S. data center segment. Develop account and sales strategies, manage pipelines, represent ABB with senior decision-makers, lead virtual sales teams, and execute complex multi-year programs. Influence automation specifications, build customer partnerships, create value propositions, and coordinate robotics, robotic cells, accessories, software packages, turnkey systems, and customer service offerings. The role is based in California and requires travel up to 50%.
