Collaborates globally with R&D, COE, Sales, Marketing, and customers to deliver scalable high-speed and high-power test solutions.

Manage the global V93000 business through cross-regional coordination between US fabless account managers and downstream sales teams. Track forecasts, collect monthly booking and revenue data, report financial projections and actuals, and refine forecasting models. Build internal and external partnerships to support complex supply chain activities and identify new business opportunities. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, business acumen, numerical sensitivity, and knowledge of the V93000 platform and Taiwan OSAT ecosystem.

Develop and maintain Java and C++ test methods for digital and mixed-signal semiconductor devices on the Advantest V93000 platform. Support customers with SmarTest debugging, production test challenges, technical training, documentation, presentations, pre-sales, NPI, benchmarks, and competitive evaluations. Provides application engineering and technical support for Advantest 93000 semiconductor test systems. The role includes customer training, technical issue resolution, project planning, yield improvement, documentation, and collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams. Domestic and international travel is required.

Leads business development for silicon photonics and optical technologies, developing market strategies, customer relationships, ecosystem partnerships, and solution roadmaps. Provide technical leadership for Advantest V93000 semiconductor test system engagements. Analyze customer requirements, develop and validate test solutions, optimize system integration, debug test programs, coordinate internal and external resources, manage project deliverables, provide technical training, and serve as a liaison between customers and engineering teams.

Develop, debug, and optimize semiconductor test programs for advanced SoC devices using Advantest SmarTest 8 and V93000 platforms. Responsibilities include silicon bring-up, validation, pattern workflow engineering, hardware and DIB debugging, signal integrity and power delivery troubleshooting, and automation using Python, Java, or C++. The role requires collaboration with design, product, hardware, and customer engineering teams and is based onsite in San Jose.

Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial agreements, including sales, services, engineering, supply, procurement, vendor, technology, licensing, and confidentiality contracts. Responsibilities include developing STIL, WGL, EVCD, IJTAG, and SSN conversion methodologies; supporting Advantest platforms; debugging timing, protocol, and pattern issues; creating Python and Java automation utilities; applying AI-assisted diagnostics; collaborating with customer and internal engineering teams; and delivering training and technical workshops.

Deploys and integrates the Velocity test automation platform within semiconductor customers’ DFT, design verification, and production test environments. Troubleshoots test patterns, timing, pin mapping, simulations, conversions, and ATE execution; analyzes logs and test results; supports silicon bring-up and production ramps; and collaborates with software engineering on fixes. Provides demonstrations, training, documentation, and technical workshops while identifying opportunities for AI-assisted automation and debug. Requires regular customer-site travel.

Owns the full lifecycle of semiconductor device-handling products, including customer requirements, product specifications, design support, prototyping, validation, failure analysis, NPI, commercialization, and post-sales support. The role analyzes equipment performance, supports installation and troubleshooting, trains field teams, leads improvement initiatives, and coordinates global cross-functional projects. Regular domestic and international customer travel, flexible hours, and physical work around machinery are required.

Leads SMT process development, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement for complex PCB assemblies.
