Own end-to-end delivery of AeroVect’s flagship Atlanta Airport autonomous vehicle program from planning through launch and steady-state operations. Drive schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, governance, stakeholder alignment, and launch readiness across Engineering, Systems, Safety, and Operations. Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and operations leadership, while helping establish TPM processes, tooling, templates, and cross-program standards.

Performs software and system safety analyses for autonomous vehicle platforms, including HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA, freedom-from-interference, and code-level hazard evaluations. Derives and traces safety requirements, defines fail-safe mechanisms, reviews safety-critical C++ and Python code, supports safety-case development, and collaborates with robotics, hardware, systems, software, and test teams to verify compliance and enable airport deployment.

Seeking a Staff Cloud Software Engineer to architect and manage scalable cloud systems on AWS, improve security, and mentor engineers.

The Senior Reliability Engineer will establish AeroVect's reliability engineering practice, leading reliability analyses and managing external testing programs to ensure product durability and performance across operational environments.

The role involves architecting 3D object detection models, managing data pipelines, developing datasets for training, and mentoring junior engineers.

Senior individual contributor owning technical direction across Perception, Prediction, or Planning for on-vehicle autonomy. Design autonomy architecture, drive robustness, oversee model lifecycle and integration, and convert high-level decisions into production code running at scale on vehicles.

The Principal Engineer, Hardware will lead design, integration, and manufacturing of autonomous vehicle systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Lead end-to-end hardware organization for AeroVect vehicle platforms across mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical domains. Own hardware roadmap, architecture, drive-by-wire and safety-critical systems, sensor and compute integration, DFM, supplier/CM relationships, and manufacturing scale. Hire and run the hardware organization while remaining hands-on in design reviews and field reliability improvements to enable certified, driverless operation at scale.

Design and integrate mechanical systems for sensors, computing, and autonomous hardware on production vehicles. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate designs; lead assembly, validation, and troubleshooting of retrofitted vehicles; collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams; and mentor junior engineers while ensuring manufacturability and robust production-ready solutions.

Own and productionize core localization systems (state estimation, mapping, calibration). Build monitoring, diagnostics, validation, and deployment tooling. Integrate sensors, tune performance, run regression testing, and iterate using data from real autonomous airport operations to enable driverless capability.

Lead design, analysis, and verification/validation of autonomous vehicle subsystems. Develop data pipelines for V&V, author and maintain requirements and architecture artifacts, define safety behaviors, track KPIs, surface risks, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor junior engineers, and support deployments. Up to 25% travel.

Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS, integrating on-prem and cloud flows. Implement IaC, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and automation to ensure high-throughput, reliable data ingestion and processing for autonomous systems.

Lead and scale the autonomy organization, owning technical strategy and roadmap for perception, prediction, planning, controls, and localization. Manage hiring, operating cadence, and delivery across the autonomy stack, interface with Systems, Safety, Platform, Hardware, Simulation, and Product, and remain hands-on in design reviews and debugging to deliver production autonomy on real vehicles.

Lead system safety engineering for autonomous ground vehicles: perform hazard analyses (HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA), FMEDA and PMHF, calculate failure rates per industry standards, derive and trace functional and hardware safety requirements for supervised and driverless operation, evaluate sensors and drive-by-wire architectures, and support safety case evidence for airport deployment.
