The NPI Alignment Engineer will develop precision optoelectronic alignment equipment, oversee production processes, perform failure analysis, and work with manufacturers on alignment equipment.

Lead strategic sourcing and commercial management for hardware commodities (electronics, optics, semiconductors, precision and contract manufacturing). Develop and execute sourcing strategies, run RFIs/RFQs, negotiate global supply agreements, manage product cost targets and should-cost/TCO analyses, build supply resilience and dual sourcing, assess supplier readiness/financial health, and drive supplier performance and cross-functional alignment for product launches and scale.

Lead development of test and automation engineering teams, design and integrate test stations for LiDAR manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement in processes.
