Leads software engineering teams responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and operating large-scale cloud applications. Provides technical direction across product discovery, architecture, agile planning, API development, security, CI/CD, and distributed systems. Manages team performance, priorities, budgets, risks, and technical decisions while partnering with product managers and stakeholders. Promotes engineering practices including microservices, test-driven development, extreme programming, continuous delivery, knowledge sharing, and production accountability.

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle of Allstate’s Kubernetes-based container platform across data centers, AWS, and Azure. Prioritize features, validate product assumptions, define success metrics, manage platform upgrades and vulnerabilities, and drive stakeholder adoption. The role requires hands-on technical knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and agile product practices, along with strong communication, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Leads and develops a software engineering team while contributing hands-on to enterprise application design, coding, testing, code reviews, production support, and technical decisions. Builds scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and modern web technologies; partners with product and business stakeholders; supports Agile delivery, CI/CD, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and engineering best practices. The role also includes mentoring engineers, monitoring delivery and operational metrics, and driving continuous improvement.
