Design and develop drivetrain structures for small electric vehicles, from 3D modeling and drawing packages through validation and mass production. Responsibilities include structural, NVH, sealing, and stress analyses; topology optimization; DFMEA development; supplier validation coordination; manufacturing collaboration; and hands-on prototype builds. The role requires expertise in mechanical integration, CAE analysis, loads, materials, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and high-volume manufacturing processes.

Designs and develops electromechanical actuators and motor-driven mechanisms for light electric vehicles, including braking and steering systems. Creates CAD models, drawings, manufacturing instructions, and validation plans; integrates electronics and embedded controls; leads DFMEAs and supplier validation; performs hands-on prototyping and testing; establishes actuator design standards; and mentors engineers.

Own vehicle architecture, layout, component design, packaging, and integration from concept through production release. Lead integration and virtual build reviews, manage CAD and BOM, perform tolerance stack-ups and GD&T, support prototypes and pre-series production, and balance cost, mass, manufacturability, performance, service, and reliability across the vehicle program.
