Own the architecture, security, segmentation, connectivity, and operation of a multi-region AWS network supporting regulated financial services. Lead cloud routing, partner VPN and Direct Connect connectivity, zero-trust access, Terraform-based infrastructure, observability, incident escalation, disaster recovery, and failover. Partner with Security on compliance and threat-model requirements, apply AI-native operational workflows, establish network standards, and mentor engineers. The role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite weekly in San Francisco or Culver City.

Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for architecting and operating AWS infrastructure supporting regulated financial services. The role owns EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, disaster recovery, networking, security, cost optimization, and AI/ML infrastructure. It provides technical leadership through architecture decisions, cross-functional initiatives, incident escalation, mentoring, and platform standardization. The position requires deep AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, Linux, networking, database, and reliability expertise, with hybrid work in Culver City or San Francisco.

Own quality for distributed backend services across API, contract, event, and database layers. Build Java-based test automation, validate service contracts and data, test asynchronous workflows, authentication, authorization, and configuration consistency, and integrate suites into GitLab CI/CD. Partner with platform engineers to improve testability, assess regression scope, manage defects in Jira, and drive continuous quality improvement across agile teams.
