Teams at American Civil Liberties Union

Advise ACLU affiliate leaders on strengthening civil rights and civil liberties legal programs. Support legal strategy, docket management, staffing, leadership, cooperating attorney relationships, integrated advocacy, and organizational alignment. Develop network-wide tools, best practices, learning communities, and capacity-building initiatives while facilitating collaboration between national and affiliate teams. The role requires extensive nonprofit legal program experience, strategic advising, facilitation, people management, a JD, and frequent travel.

Lead impact litigation and advocacy on immigrants' rights, handling federal court cases, legal research and writing, discovery and motions, client and partner coordination, policy advocacy, public speaking, supervision of paralegals/interns, and rapid-response efforts to immigration enforcement events.
