Provides desktop and help desk support across campus, remote offices, and home-office environments. Installs, configures, and troubleshoots Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations, peripherals, network issues, servers, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise applications. Collaborates with global IT teams, supports projects, documents procedures, trains users, evaluates hardware and software, and ensures customer satisfaction and issue resolution. The role requires a strong on-site presence in Walnut Creek and occasional off-hours support.

Develop and maintain core kernel components for the embedded VxWorks operating system. Responsibilities include coding, testing, validation, debugging, issue resolution, documentation, code reviews, and hardware-software integration. The role requires strong operating-system and RTOS knowledge, C programming, embedded systems experience, and familiarity with device drivers and BSP board bring-up. Engineers collaborate cross-functionally using CI/CD and agile development practices.

Plan and manage software quality assurance activities across safety- and security-critical projects. Conduct audits, reviews, and inspections; maintain certification deliverables; identify risks and non-compliances; support regulatory and customer audits; improve SQA processes; track metrics; and mentor engineering teams. The role supports products including VxWorks and Helix Virtualization Platform across aviation, automotive, robotics, and industrial programs.
