The Lead Optics Test Engineer will lead optical design verification testing for advanced optical transceivers, develop specifications, conduct testing, and serve as a subject matter expert on optics.

Design mechanical modules and chassis for high‑density network switches using Creo. Produce 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and PLM releases. Collaborate with ECAD, suppliers, and CMs, perform prototype lab testing, support thermal simulation and manufacturability, and travel occasionally to suppliers.

Support design and supply chain to source and qualify electromechanical components, resolve lifecycle and quality issues, administer change orders in PLM/Agile, perform CAD detailing in Creo, and ensure components meet regulatory and production requirements.
