Manages the full lifecycle of electronic product families from program commitment through manufacturing readiness, production, continuous improvement, portfolio rationalization, and end-of-life. Leads cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, contract manufacturing, and customer support teams. Coordinates prototypes, material readiness, capacity planning, capital expenditure, quality metrics, cost targets, risk mitigation, product releases, and post-project assessments. Requires engineering expertise in electronic product fabrication and manufacturing, plus strong stakeholder communication and partner-management skills.

Lead early hardware prototype builds across design, manufacturing, and test teams. Drive Design for Excellence reviews, debug complex systems, perform root-cause analysis, and repair hardware using lab equipment and technical diagnostics. Interpret schematics, layouts, mechanical drawings, and datasheets while improving manufacturing processes and product quality. Collaborate with engineering and contract manufacturing partners, mentor factory technical staff, and travel to manufacturing sites in Mexico, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Leads multiple cross-functional teams designing and verifying high-density Ethernet networking switches. Responsibilities include hardware architecture, schematic and layout supervision, board bring-up, signal and power integrity analysis, vendor roadmap management, manufacturing readiness, customer escalations, technical project execution, and mentoring hardware engineers. The role drives products from concept through production while improving engineering processes and quality.
