Lead mechanical NPI activities from prototype through high-volume production, developing manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids. Drive DFM and cost improvements, root-cause quality issues, supplier and contract manufacturer collaboration, BOM and engineering change control, PLM documentation, and production readiness. Support manufacturability, yield, reliability, inventory efficiency, and sustaining activities for networking equipment. The role also requires tolerance analysis, manufacturing process expertise, and some travel.

Design and validate custom tooling, test fixtures, and jigs for high-volume electronics manufacturing. Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, ECOs, and technical documentation; provide DFM/DFT feedback; perform tolerance analysis; select manufacturing processes; collaborate with engineering teams, contract manufacturers, and vendors; support prototyping, tool release, and pilot builds; and help scale liquid cooling solutions and troubleshoot electromechanical systems.

Leads manufacturing readiness, NPI transfer, DFX reviews, production process development, functional test strategy, and sustaining engineering for high-volume data center networking equipment. The role focuses on high-speed signal integrity, complex PCBA manufacturing, optical and liquid-cooling systems, ATE development, supplier and contract manufacturer coordination, capacity planning, and quality improvement using advanced statistical tools.
