Maintain and support Linux systems, HCI clusters, and PaaS infrastructure for NASA’s high-performance computing environment. Responsibilities include Tier 3 escalation, Ansible and RHEL provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, configuration management, documentation, security compliance, customer support, and project leadership. The role also provides oversight for Linux workstation and Mac management services and requires collaboration across infrastructure and DevOps teams.

Maintains and supports large-scale Linux HPC clusters, storage, networking, schedulers, and system software. Responsibilities include patching, upgrades, deployment, monitoring, scripting, automation, performance tuning, benchmarking, troubleshooting, user support, configuration management, security infrastructure, documentation, and evaluation of emerging HPC technologies. The role supports NASA Ames supercomputing resources and requires after-hours or weekend support as needed.

Administers large-scale Linux HPC clusters, InfiniBand fabrics, storage systems, and supporting infrastructure. Responsibilities include system installation, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, user support, software integration, automation, documentation, and after-hours support. The role requires diagnosing RDMA, MPI, networking, and filesystem issues; maintaining fabric health; developing scripts; supporting schedulers and provisioning tools; and evaluating new HPC technologies.
