Design, simulate, build, test, qualify, and procure active and passive microwave RF subsystems for satellite payloads. Own hardware development from requirements through manufacturing and qualification, integrate systems into spacecraft, collaborate across engineering disciplines, manage vendor hardware, and support team growth through recruiting and interviewing.

Support Astranis’s Supply Chain team with RFQs, purchase orders, data integrity, commercial-term documentation, scalable procurement processes, and operational support for spacecraft and technology development programs. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment.

Administers and secures JWICS, CWAN, and other TS/SCI classified systems, including servers, workstations, network devices, applications, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include configuration, patching, account and access management, troubleshooting, system upgrades, vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance, security monitoring, incident reporting, and accreditation support. The role collaborates with security, COMSEC, industrial security, and government representatives to maintain classified system availability and compliance.
