Design, build, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and data pipelines for the Aurora Atlas mapping storage and versioning system. Ensure stability through testing and performance optimization. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape designs and features that support map updates, simulations, visualizations, and onboard systems.

Design and implement scalable, highly concurrent micro-backend services in AWS to manage and monitor an autonomous vehicle fleet. Partner with product, hardware, and infrastructure teams to build fleet management, vehicle communication, and high-availability systems, while mentoring engineers and driving the product lifecycle end-to-end.

Lead the Vehicle/Hardware safety case program end-to-end: plan, scope, schedule, coordinate engineers, drive evidence to sufficiency, manage accepted risks, produce release closure reports, support audits, and inform Safety Review Board Go/No-Go decisions. Lead product selection and deployment (IGA, PAM, CIAM, SSO/Federation), define IAM policies, guide complex access models (RBAC/ABAC/PBAC), and enforce segregation of duties while enabling secure cloud-first operations.
